Roundup

Roundup®, the world's most widely-used weed killer, has been linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in individuals who have been exposed to it. In 2015, the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) found that glyphosate increased risks of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in some exposed persons and caused tumor formation in some animals. Glyphosate is the active herbicide in Roundup®. Shortly after the IARC study, 17 of the world’s top cancer researchers unanimously voted to elevate the cancer profile of glyphosate on behalf of WHO, and the IARC now classifies glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Since then, Roundup cancer warnings have been issued worldwide, banning the sale and use of Roundup in many countries. In July 2017, glyphosate was added to California’s list of chemicals known to cause cancer under Proposition 65. For decades, Roundup has been marketed as safe, but IT IS NOT SAFE FOR USE!

Roundup cancer lawsuits allege that Monsanto (now owned by Bayer) has engaged in concealing Roundup cancer risks for decades. There are internal Monsanto documents that were obtained during the discovery process of litigation that reveal that Monsanto may have been aware that the ingredients in Roundup increased the risk of cancer when Roundup was used, and despite being aware of the increased risks, failed to place any type of consumer warning on the packaging label!

Monsanto has a huge interest in protecting Roundup's reputation. Per Monsanto financials, Roundup brought in close to $4.76 billion in 2015; this was approximately one-third of the company's global sales. Monsanto's Roundup Ready crops, which are used in tandem with the herbicide, are even more profitable - seeds and genomic products brought Monsanto over $10 billion in annual sales in 2015. These products rely heavily on the continued viability of Roundup, and public awareness of the Roundup non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma risk would damage global sales.

Multi Million and Billion Dollar Verdicts for Roundup Users

Since 2018, there have been multiple MULTI million and MULTI billion dollar verdicts against Monsanto based upon individuals who used Roundup obtaining non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Anyone exposed to Roundup, including gardeners, landscapers, farmers, greenkeepers, or people who live in places where Roundup is used, may be at risk of developing Roundup lymphoma.

Types of Roundup® Injuries:

  • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
  • B-Cell Lymphoma
  • T-Cell Lymphoma
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
  • Hairy Cell Leukemia
  • Mantle Cell Lymphoma
